“I was in a car accident as of march, I had front damage hit pretty hard at least the passenger air bag should have deployed but after I got my car back it started cutting off for no reason. I took it back to auto shop that fixed it when the check engine light came on due to revving up between the 3 and 5 RPM and barely moving the lightest touch it would stay stuck between those even slowing down to less 25 MPH as soon as step on the gas it will shoot right back up between 3 and 5 RPM and rev.. …”

NHTSA complaint #10895225, filed 2016-08, 30,000 miles

“I was less than 1 mile from home. I noticed the throttle wasnt responding as it should when I pressed the pedal. The etc light was blinking and the traction light was on. I was not able to drive over 20 MPH and I was almost rear ended by the vehicle behind me. After having it towed and having two mechanics look at it, they determined it to be a throttle body failure. This was replaced. I picked the car up. Less than 1/2 a mile from the shop, I lost power again and the same lights reappeared with the engine light now lit up. I took it back. …”

NHTSA complaint #11142727, filed 2018-10, 131,000 miles

“The first time the throttle control warning light came on, I was mid-turn into oncoming traffic when my vehicle stalled, completely stopping almost causing another vehicle to t-bone me. Car shut off and when I restarted it, it automatically accelerated. Arrived at my destination within a mile and later that day when I turned on my car to go home, the light was off and no issues. A couple days go by, on my way to work again, I am trying to stop for a red light, throttle control warning light comes on and car accelerates instead causing me to run the red light. …”

NHTSA complaint #11080640, filed 2018-03, 75,000 miles

“I was driving on the beltway and the car just stalled. I was doing 70 MPH at the time. The car randomly stalls/won't crank and it has less than 4000 miles on it. I just purchased the car and have been back and forth to the dealership and they will not help me. It shuts off with no warning and all the gauges get stuck. I am afraid for my life and I can't get in touch with the manufacturer. Because I have to get on the highway to go to work I am afraid it is going to happen when I don't have a way to get to an emergency lane and it is going to cause a fatality. …”

NHTSA complaint #10658553, filed 2014-11, 700 miles

“While the vehicle is moving and with my feet on the gas pedal the rpms drop, the car shudders. About 5 seconds later the rpms jump up but doesn't gain speed. Also the car jerks before accelerating very slow. No codes but clearly there's a problem.”
