“I took my car to get a oil change at the Dodge dealership. When it was returned to me I notice that when I turn my wheel all the way to a certain side it makes a loud rubbing noise. They rotated my tires and changed my fluids so I believe it would eventually go away. It hasn't”

NHTSA complaint #11323222, filed 2020-05

“I was traveling 58 mph on hwy 270 in Malvern Arkansas. The power steering turned off, the emergency brake engaged and flashed, and the ABS shut off. I replaced the steering sensor with an original mopar part off of my vin number and if i turn tightly it still triggers a code. The entire sensor and spring has been relplaced. It was obvious the original part shorted out It is VERY SENSITIVE to heat, the hotter it gets the more shut down of power steering, and activating the emergency brake while driving is experienced. I bought this car new and have taken excellent care of it.”

NHTSA complaint #11751658, filed 2026-07

“Over 2 years ago I took my vehicle in for an oil change and asked them to drive it and see why it sometimes pulls the steering when going around a curve to the left. they drove it and said it never did pull. Since then, it now pulls to the right when going around curves to the right also. It is doing it more frequently and I am in fear that it will either cause me to go off the road or hit someone when it all of a sudden jerks, like it is catching on something in the tire or something. I wouldn't even let my grandson drive it when he got his learners permit. …”

NHTSA complaint #11707706, filed 2025-12

“The vehicles first issue I had was about a month of owning the vehicle , with the Uconnect infotainment system not wanting to turn off or on and being frozen with only showing a still image of the back camera. I fixed it after I disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes. Then I had a transmission problem which needed servicing not even a year into owning the vehicle. I had to go to the service center to have part replaced, took about a month to get replaced due to back order. Then in June of 2021 the car wouldn't go in reverse or drive. As if the emergency brake was on and wouldn't budge. …”

NHTSA complaint #11466220, filed 2022-05

“Total loss of power steering while driving. We were traveling on a main road doing 30 MPH with autos in front and behind us. Slowed down and attempted to turn onto side street. It was very hard to turn onto the side street since there was about 10 % of power steering assist. You could barely steer into a parking spot. I called for a tow truck to deliver the 2019 Dodge Charger srt hellcat to my residence. I will be calling the closest Dodge dealer/ repair center for diagnostic and repairs to be made. Thank god no people, injured, properties or vehicles were damaged or killed. .”
