“When a passenger gets in the pasenger seat the air bag and no seatbelt comes on blinking and dinging the whole time I am driving. Today my check engine light came on so I took it to auto zone and had the codes read adn it came up with the following p0520 engine oil pressure sensor/switch circuit and code u0140 lost communication with body control module.”

NHTSA complaint #11281059, filed 2019-11, 2,000 miles

“The seatbelt sensor in my vehicle seems to never go off, a mechanic took a look and said the seat belt sensor was bad, how at 61000 miles is my seatbelt sensor bad? I've had two opinions and after talking to a Dodge representative I was told I'd have to replace the entire seatbelt system out of pocket. So how is it Dodge uses a cheap part and I'm responsible for the mess up from the company”

NHTSA complaint #11291195, filed 2019-12

“When a passenger is in the car, the air bag light and an audible alert constantly go off while driving. Took it to the dealership and they say this: it's a seat belt buckle sensor circuit causing orc. light wires are connected and not damaged To me, the words not damaged indicate that this is not our fault. Of course we're not going to let our daughter continue to drive the car like this, but I feel like $522.79, which is what they're charging, in addition to a $99 misc. fee that I don't know what is, is WAY too much for something that I thought would be considered a safety issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11574289, filed 2024-02

“I have a recall for my transmission bushing and I have called multiple dealerships to try to get it fixed but they all say they dont have the parts available! I have to manually put the transmission cable on the arm to be able to switch gears, this is a huge safety concern that is not in any hurry to be fixed. I strongly demand this issue getting resolved in a more timley mannor as my inspection needs to be passed and it is unable to because of this problem. Seatbelts light keeps coming on when seatbelts are worn and off when the arnt”

NHTSA complaint #11288632, filed 2019-12

“The airbag light started coming on when a passenger sat in the passenger seat. The light would go off. When driving, the airbag light began coming on when driving with no passenger and then stayed on. In addition, the seatbelt light would beep even when the passenger belt was plugged in. I took the vehicle into Dodge for service and was informed the seatbelt could not be fixed because the part needed was discontinued. The airbag light was diagnosed as a problem with the wire harnesses. The day after getting my car back from being repaired, the airbag light is back on. …”
