“1st incident occurred while accelerating to pull on to the highway. After accelerating and removing foot from pedal, the pedal did not release and the vehicle continued to rapidly accelerate. Applying the brakes did not stop the engine acceleration but did allow us to exit the highway and shift to neutral and turn off the car. Restarting the car, all returned to normal. However a little while later while accelerating to pass a vehicle the gas pedal once again stuck in the downward position and would not release. …”
