“I made a report a couple of days ago, I think I put it in wrong. My problem is engine stalling while I am driving, I was informed that chrysler extended the warranty on its gas tank , indefinitely. They say the float sticks and causes the car to stall.”
NHTSA complaint #11364345, filed 2020-10, 110,000 miles“Takata recall. When I had the first recall they replaced the air bag and when they did now the turn signals will not turn off by themselves and the steering wheel makes a popping noise when driving down the road and making a turn.I have no idea what they did when they replaced the drivers side air bag but that is the trouble I am having with my Magnum now and you want me to let them do it again. They need to repair the first mistake first but it is my only way around and no dealer will loan out.”
NHTSA complaint #10885371, filed 2016-07, 64,692 miles“A driver suddenly stopped in front of while I was moving resulting of me hitting her in the back. Front of my car is totaled. The shock was violent but the airbag never deployed. Thank god I was not greatly hurt.”
NHTSA complaint #10714190, filed 2015-05, 114,521 miles“I have contacted Dodge after my Magnum nearly killed me (literally). They told me to 'pay for my repairs and keep my receipt in case of a recall'. This is a huge safety issue and it needs attention. My gas pedal literally broke off while I was driving and was stuck wide open. By that I mean it broke off completely from the assembly that holds the pedal to the actual car itself! Then, after I contacted them to bring it in to a shop, the shifter would not shift out of drive, and when I got it out of drive, it will not move from park!! …”
NHTSA complaint #11042228, filed 2017-11, 167,000 miles“My car was doing fine until I went to back up and it wouldn't come out of park. I had never had it happen before. I couldn't get it out of park. No warning lights and no noise just wouldn't come out of park. The shifter needed to be replaced. A shifter assembly needed replaced”
