“The clunk. I have a 2005 Magnum with 79000 miles and a 2006 charger with 37000 and they both clunking the front end when going over road bumps. The dealer has replaced upper and lower ball joints which include the tension arms...about $800. I also had to replace tie rods ends, which was another $250.00 the clunking noise is still there.”

NHTSA complaint #10290477, filed 2009-10, 34,000 miles

“My 2005 Dodge Magnum has pulled to the right since day one. I have had it to the dealer 3 times and twice they told me that the Magnum is designed to pull to the right as a safety feature to keep you from going into the left lane in an emergency, ie passing out etc. I have that statement in writing on the second service order. Dodge will not take any action.”

NHTSA complaint #10112507, filed 2005-03, 100 miles

“Since the first time I drove my 2005 Dodge Magnum, it has pulled to the right. The dealer and manufacturer say that they all do that and it is an engineering problem and they can't figure it out nor can they fix it. The car comes up to specs on the alignment and everything is supposedly fine, but it continues to pull to the right.”

NHTSA complaint #10095990, filed 2004-10, 26 miles

“I have not had a complete failure. Waiting on that to happen. I purchased a brand new 2005 Dodge Magnum sxt with v6, automatic transmission in 2005 from a dealership. It had approximately 36 miles on it. I have not had the pulling to the right everyone else had, but it does make a funny scrubbing sound while driving as if the tire was rubbing against the car on the right rear passenger side and several other problems that are common. I have depressed the brake and felt vibrations from pedal on several occasions. The car doesn't seem to be able to stop completely. …”

NHTSA complaint #10491454, filed 2013-01, 87,546 miles

“My 2005 Dodge Magnum r/t experiences alignment issues with the vehicle pulling to the right. While the manufacturer claims it is within spec the dealership does not deny the problem exists. I have visited the dealership twice regarding the issue and will most likely go back a third time. I am aware of a TSB that is out regarding this issue, however I feel dealerships may not have all the information or choose not to perform the necessary work to fix this obviously widespread flaw.”
