NHTSA complaint #11090008, filed 2018-04, 100,000 miles

“The engine stall which appears you have investigated is concerning for me. Multiple times I have been make a r turn and had the engine die in deceleration through the turn resulting in the truck losing power steering and electrical components of the truck. The recent incident almost resulted in me striking a motorcycle waiting in the l hand turn lane for the traffic signal. The engine has stalled in several other turn situations causing me to be restarting at stand still in traffic. I feel this has proven to be a safety concern and not just a inconvenience.”

NHTSA complaint #10787902, filed 2015-11, 150,000 miles

“The truck will start surging between 30 -65 MPH and the engine will fail causing loss of brakes and power steering. While idling the engine will rev up to 3000 RPM up and down and will also do this while in drive. While idling at a stop light the truck will surge forward like the gas pedal was pushed to the floor and I have almost hit numerous cars in front of me many different times. I have had the throttle body cleaned and replaced, EGR valve replaced, and the electronic throttle control replaced by a Dodge dealership. On average, this problem occurs 5-8 times a week. …”

NHTSA complaint #10346063, filed 2010-07, 60,557 miles

“The ABS module needs to be replaced to enable the ABS to work as well as turn off the ABS/brake light lights. Other than no one will want to pass it due to the lights. The part was discontinued which one must believe was a mistake as this is a critical part.”

NHTSA complaint #11162470, filed 2018-12, 95,000 miles
