Example complaints

“I was merging on to Interstate 5 when the vehicle in front stopped very hard to avoid hitting construction equipment that had likely fallen off a truck. I was not able to stop the car in time as the brakes seemed to not be effective. The collision warning braking system did not activate. The airbags did not activate which surprised the Highway Patrol and collision center personnel.”

NHTSA complaint #11595028, filed 2024-06

“I received my vehicle on 10/14. At that time, I noticed a warning light on the dashboard that I identified in the owner’s manual as “airbag fault.” I emailed Fisker support about this problem on 10/30. After receiving no response from Fisker, I finally called them today and was told that my issue had been “escalated” on 10/30 and that the representative would contact another department after I hung up to have them follow up with me within a week.”

NHTSA complaint #11555127, filed 2023-11

“The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light was illuminated and a system braking assist message was displayed. The contact stated that several other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.”
