“The car does not detect pedestrians or other vehicles in the rear of the vehicle. It does, however, detect cars on the side. I just recently backed into another car in a parking garage because this feature does not work. I am disabled, have had a spinal fusion and a neck fusion and I purchased this car because of it's advanced safety features. The features do not work!”
NHTSA complaint #11627005, filed 2024-11“American leasing updated my car's software form 2.1 to 2.2 (1 of 3), then 2.2.,2 then 2.2.1. My blind spot monitoring is no longer working, and I get a radar malfunction error. Also, they will not pay for labor on the recall parts, as agreed to by the court order”
NHTSA complaint #11652228, filed 2025-04“The sensors aren’t reliable. Some days, the sensors work and some days they don’t. While I still utilize the skills from driving without these sensors, there will be a time where the sensor may turn off without me knowing and cause an accident because I can’t safely rely on them”
NHTSA complaint #11586198, filed 2024-04“The vehicle drives forward when you put it in reverse. I almost hit the car parked in front of me. The manufacturer has no interest in fixing the problem. this is on top of multiple issues with this car: All the ADAS features are not working and sending false warnings, slamming the breaks when identifying a shadow in front of the vehicle etc.. This car should have not been allowed on the road and it is only a question of time before someone is going to get hurt.”
NHTSA complaint #11560754, filed 2023-12“Received 2.2 updates on November 12th 2024. Vehicle didn't next day morning. 12V battery was totally drained. I had to call one of the Fisker old technician to remove the old battery and install a new battery. I had to pay him $400 on that day. He said he had to come back again and update the software as 2.2 update didn't happen properly. He came back again a week after and charged me $1400 for fixing the car which was Brick condition. I have wasted a total of $1800 just in 2 weeks. But still I don't have 2.2 update on my fisker”
