The dealer stated that the unit needed to be replaced. The contact informed them that it was previously repaired under the recall; however, the dealer informed him of the heat shield installation. …”

If it isn't, I am not surprised. Per the recall, I called the dometic specified phone # and received a determination that my refrigerator qualifies for the recall. My complaint is that the person who I talked with was almost illiterate and had a very strong southern accent which made it almost impossible to understand. Also, it is my understanding that I have to take my rv to a service center for installation of a repair kit. …”
