“A suspension component on my 2024 Ford Bronco -- the sway bar disconnect device. began reporting malfunction in May of 2026. A service warning for the component appeared on the vehicle status display. The issue caused several control system features to freeze and could not be cleared. The warning was intermittent, but subsequent information from a dealer service revealed that faults were registered in the system OBD files. I took my vehicle to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle three times and they reported to me that they could not find a cause of the warning. …”
NHTSA complaint #11768786, filed 2026-10“Front Differential Mount Frame Bracket Cracked Or Broken. See Ford TSB 25-2613 for detail. The Frame Bracket on my vehicle was making a loud clink/clunk sound. The broken bracket was verified by the Ford Dealer on my vehicle and is awaiting a repair. If this failure had occurred during highway speed the left front drive axel would have been placed in a bind and steering could have been lost. A roll over accident could have occurred as a result. Note: I did own a 2022 model of the same type that developed the same sound, Ford dealer verified the sound but did not find the source. …”
NHTSA complaint #11771086, filed 2026-10“The Sta-bar continues to disconnect. Had been in shop 5xs for same issue 2 weeks each time with hopes that they fixed it. Within 500miles after leaving shop it does it again and warning flashes to seek maintenance immediately. There is no obvious reason of why. It will donit when it's dry, when it's raining or snowing. It happens when I first turn car on or it could happen going 70mph on highway. Started within the first 1000 miles on car and has continued, currently at 18000miles. Car feels unsteady on every bump and ripple and with high winds when it occurs. …”
NHTSA complaint #11740772, filed 2026-05“The vehicle started showing excessive tire wear with only 3500 miles on it. We took it to the dealership to have this checked and discovered it the front suspension was severely out of alignment they aligned the suspension and 1500 miles later it was out of alignment again and was re aligned. Then 1500 miles later it was aligned yet again because of excessive wear and pulling hard to the left. The vehicle was returned to the dealership it was purchased from and they kept it for 27 straight days and claimed to have done 5 alignments and the 5th one worked. …”
NHTSA complaint #11696220, filed 2025-10“The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V025000 (Suspension); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.”
