“The hood came up and blinded me on the freeway at 60mph. I beleive I am lucky to be alive and not injured. Nhtsa campaign id number: 97v024000, describes what happened to my car. I believe the same hood latch striker defect exists on 1995 Crown Victoria's without the police option,but it just takes longer to show up. This defect showed up on my car with 96625 miles of mostly freeway driving. I suspect in time many other standard 1995 Crown Victoria's will be having this problem. …”
