“The contact owns a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. The contact stated that upon making a turn, the steering wheel seized making the vehicle difficult to control. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred when ever he was making a turn at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the lower steering shaft needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage were 160,000.”
