“My windshield wipers will not turn off. When I took my vehicle to the repair shop to have it checked out they told me that water was getting in behind the windshield and shorting out the electrical components. They stated that this problem has been occurring with the make and model of my vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #10162568, filed 2006-07, 129,560 miles“The consumer states that within two weeks of the purchase of this vehicle, he has been having brake problems. (when the brakes began having problems, the consumer had taken the vehicle to a service manager and was told that the vehicle has hard brake linings and they needed to be broken in) then after, the consumer experienced the brakes becoming inoperative, grabbing/pulling(sharply), and failing. …”
NHTSA complaint #567712, filed 2002-09“Spark plug ejected from cylinder head of my 1999 Ford E-150 5.4l engine. The threads were stripped and the dealer says $4000+ total repair. The fuel and air leaking into the engine compartment with a convenient ignition source, the spark plug, fortunately did not lead to a fire but it's potentially enormous. After internet searching, this seems to be a very common problem. Although the Ford dealer does not acknowledge this.”
NHTSA complaint #10043338, filed 2003-10“Airbag light on. Dealer replaced sensor, and same day light came on again. Dealer could not remedy problem. Sway bar had to be taken out and installed correctly/gas pedal was sticking/wet floor on both driver and passenger sides/ leak from firewall/front rotors and pads were replaced/exhaust system replaced/both outside mirrors replaced, were not staying in position/bumper replaced 3 times, rusting through,, and electrical problems with vehicle.”

The lift system has an intermittant problem , frequently will blow resetable breaker .when it rains the system gets wet because the door doesnt close properly, when the floor was dropped for the modifications it was not done properly. Because of this the door leaks ,causes the electrical components to get wet . The van for sale , the adaptive equipment will be removed first though , I assure you ! …”
