“After about a year after purchasing my 2020 Ford EcoSport The seat belt on the driver's side is stretched out and doesn't hold in my opinion tightly enough for me to feel safe, hoe can I remedy this, My only complaint is so far driver's seat belt if I can get this fixed through Ford Motor Company, I could breathe a safe sigh of relief.”

The contact stated that the front passenger’s side seat belt was unable to retract, and a passenger seated in the seat was not safely secured. The contact was informed that the seat assembly was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who determined that the seat belt needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 84,000.”

No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.”
