“See attached document for complaint. Text from document: After that encounter I called the dealership inquiring as to the availability of the specific repair parts for the recall I was told that unless I was already experiencing a problem they would not even look into the matter. This sounded ridiculous to me so I left messages for management but my calls were not returned.”
NHTSA complaint #11682321, filed 2025-08“Oil pump failure because of Ford recall on broken oil pump belt- driving down the interstate with no place to pull over about getting ran over by semi bc the car suddenly stopped with any warning or anything. Ford won’t even look at my vehicle because over 60,000 miles warranty with vehicle have 66,000 miles on it I purchased the car brand new with 25 miles on it .. only way ford or a dealership said they would even look at it is if I’m willing to pay a 100% out of pocket til then they refuse to do absolutely anything”
