Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I was driving in semi wet conditions, going downhill and engaged the overdrive off button. The vehicle started to shimmy and shake, then fish tailed, resulting in me hitting an embankment and flipping the vehicle. Neither airbag deployed! I was able to crawl out of the wreck but the truck was totaled. This is the second time the vehicle did the exact same thing (except the crash), in the same weather conditions. The first time, I was able to get the vehicle under control.”
