2020 Ford F-350 SD Technical Service Bulletins

• 10169988Dec 20, 2019Transmission and drivetrain. Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 transmission may exhibit harsh upshifts between 1st and 5th gears. For vehicles with less than 200 miles (320 km) on the odometer, these harsh upshifts may be due to the transmission adaptive strategy not being fully adapted. The harsh upshifts are not detrimental to transmission operation or durability and upshift quality may improve as the vehicle is driven.
• 10168815Nov 27, 2019Body and structure, Electrical system. Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with power release tailgate may continue to display a Check Tailgate Ajar in the IPC message center after the tailgate is closed. This may occur when the key is in the ON position and the tailgate is opened and closed while the vehicle is in a gear other than PARK. Cycling the key or pressing the OK button on the steering wheel will remove the Check Tailgate Ajar message.

Some 2018-2020 F-150/Expedition/Navigator/F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a water leak on the right front floor during or after the air conditioning (A/C) is used. This may be due to condensation from the evaporator drain tube entering the vehicle through the drain tube seal.
