2011: “Vehicle hit a pothole on interstate 75 north near dalton georgia at approximately 65 miles per hour. The front right wheel and front end violently shook and the steering wheel shook so bad control of the f350 became an issue. I was unable to control the vehicle until I slowed to below 20 miles per hour. The incident presented a very serious safety issue”
NHTSA complaint #11374935, filed 2020-11, 61,000 miles2012: “At speeds typically over 50 MPH vehicle, vehicle has a propensity to begin shaking violently, and uncontrollably. After doing some research this appears to be a common problem known among owners as death wobble . The vehicle has been to my local dealership to for repairs and parts replacement but the problem remains unsolved. I no longer feel safe operating this vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11355429, filed 2020-09, 120,000 miles2002: “The digital compass and temperature display in the upper console breaks. I rely on the display to prevent from crashing on icy roads. I have looked and thousands of people have same issues, a wire coming loose. Ford needs to recall this instead of charging up to 400.00 for the replacement part. It almost got me killed, im surprised no one has been injured.”
