NHTSA complaint #11156465, filed 2018-12, 180,000 milesSteering: “I own a 2009 Ford f350 king ranch that I purchased used 2 years ago from a nissan dealership. On multiple occasions, the front end violently shakes when it encounters any deformity on the road. The shakes are so intense and uncontrollable the I have to try and pull off the road to not cause an accident. The shaking does not stop until the vehicle is completely stopped. I have had the body mounts replaced, an alignment- because I was told proper tire inflation would fix it- the shocks replaced, and steering stabilizer replaced. None of these remedied the situation. …”
NHTSA complaint #11327545, filed 2020-06, 200,000 milesWheels: “Pulling my lincoln rushmore 5th wheel, I had three separate blowouts on my 5th wheel. Once on way out to campground and two lost coming home. Camper was built in 2014 and I have less then 1500 miles on these new goodyear marathon st 235/80r16 tires. The tread separated from the tire on all three at speeds from 65 miles per hour on first tire, and 47 and 58 miles per hour on the other two coming home. I still have one of these with me. With exception of fender damage on one side and support straps broke, it was not much damage, but feel these tires are at fault. …”
