“I have a 2005 Ford f350 diesel powerstroke that has the fuel tank lining falling off and its gotten to my fuel lines and fuel pump causing the truck to come to a complete stop while I was driving down the freeway hauling a 12ft trailer with a 10000 lbs tractor on it. I had to get it towed to a shop where they replaced the fuel pump and filters. …”

NHTSA complaint #10676166, filed 2015-01, 50,000 miles

“Transmission fluid was leaking out from under truck after I started it to let warm up. Had it towed to the garage only to find out that a snap ring inside the transmission had worn a hole in the transmission casing. This could have been real bad if I had not let the truck warm up as I live on a hill and the transmission fluid was coming out so fast I am sure the road would have been covered. I check to see if Ford had recalled this problem but they did not, even as there are many complaints on the Ford forum website. …”
