“The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-53. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, while checking the coolant, the contact became aware that there were several mounting brackets used to secure the hood were missing from the engine compartment. The contact used tape to secure the hood. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V826000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages, Structure); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not taken to a dealer. …”
