“My wife and I were on rt3 traveling at about 50mph when we were hit on the left side which pushed us across the highway into a stone wall the car was damaged on the entire left side and front and right side and front the only air bag that deployed was at the knee there were no other air bags deployed we were both injured we have the police report and pictures.”

The door had to be replaced because of damage. I don't understand why the side airbag didn't deploy after such a severe impact?”
NHTSA complaint #10945248, filed 2017-01, 41,025 miles“Went to stop hit the brake peddle and the car did not slow down, I pumped the brakes then hit them again still the car did not slow down, I impacted the rear of a truck, a fire started under hood in front of the driver's side at the windshield area, the steering wheel air bag didn't deploy nor did the seat belt lock, causing me to hit the steering wheel with my chest. Car was traveling aprox. 35 MPH.”

The air bag at my feet deployed but the one in the steering wheel did not. I had severe bruising from the impact with the steering wheel and the seat belt. I have pictures of the impact and the lower air bag deployment without the steering wheel air bag.”
