NHTSA complaint #11355063, filed 2020-09, 64,000 miles“My vehicle suddenly slows down as warning lights illuminate at the exact same time. I had no choice but to avoid traffic and try to get the car off the roads as it loses power. I could get the vehicle restarted but couldn't get the speed back up to normal. I went to the dealership and was told that I need a throttle body replacement, for a car with less than 50k miles on it.”
NHTSA complaint #11058392, filed 2018-01, 50,000 miles“Shutter in the transmission , when I took it in they claimed the problem wasn't severe enough for Ford motor to fix the issue. They are aware of the problems in these vehicles but aren't willing to fix it. There is also a class action lawsuit do to the issue. Shutter before car moves in forward psoition every time I drive the vehicle .”
NHTSA complaint #10983893, filed 2017-05, 33,000 miles“Bad water pumps and a bad transmission car leaks had water pump replaced and the transmission stalled on me twice trying to leave a parking lot to get on the main highway almost got me hit by another car not happy with the car pump is leaking again and had it replaced 10000 miles ago”
NHTSA complaint #11022506, filed 2017-09, 37,000 miles“Transmission slips out of gear during normal city driving. I have had the car completely lock up, become unable to drive, and needed to be towed to the dealership. This is the 3rd time I have encountered this issue. I've had the transmission computer restarted, one of the clutches replaced, then a few months after that had the car towed to the dealership again due to immobilizer malfunction design for the car is great but the mechanics are terrible.”
