“2006 Ford lcf 450. Consumer states problem with fuel system the consumer stated he has been experiencing problems with the vehicle, since the day of purchase. The engine was replaced at 96,018 miles. The vehicle stalled and would not restart. The dealer changed the new ficm that came with the new engine because it was not done when the engine was first replaced. The dealer then found the number 2 and 6 fuel injectors had failed. The next day the vehicle was still running poorly with bucking and very little power so the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. …”
NHTSA complaint #10329628, filed 2010-05, 96,018 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Ford lcf. While driving approximately 55 MPH on normal road conditions, the engine stalled without warning. The contact made several attempts before the engine restarted. The warning indicators were not illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing and they stated that the failure was related to the fuel system. The technician replaced the fuel pump and fuel injectors under the warranty. …”

The contact attempted to jump start the vehicle; however, it would not start. I had taken the truck to an authorized dealer for repairs. They state that the vehicle is not under the warranty so I have to pay for it. Just for the diagnostic they were charging 575.00 so I decided to take to an other mechanic shop I am really disappointed with this Ford dealer. I paid a lot of money for this truck it has only 32 thousand mileages.. I found similar problems with other trucks same model same year. …”
