Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Tpms issue, the TPMS sensor has failed on the front left tire. This is with 2 years service and 10,850 miles. Ford claim they are not covering sensors since they take abuse from potholes and other road conditions. Sensors were covered but they have had too many problems so they will not cover them any longer. I asked them to disable the receiver since there is no transmitter. They stated it is a safety system they can't since this is a mandatory safety system I would submit Ford has improperly designed the system and it should work at least as long at the warranty.”
