The please remove articles away from passenger seat message was displayed across the message board. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the passenger side seat air bag sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 44,000. The VIN was unavailable.”

The contact stated while driving at approximately 65 MPH the contact lost consciousness after a buck collided with the front of her vehicle. The contact did not recall if the brake pedal was depressed. The air bags did deploy however smoke was released from the air bag after it ruptured. The vehicle was towed to an auto body shop however the insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The impact of the crash was on the passenger's side of the vehicle. The contact sustained multiple internal injuries and a police report was filed. …”
