“The contact owns a 2015 Ford Transit. The contact stated that while reversing at 5-10 MPH, the rearview camera went blank, and occasionally the image was upside down. There were no warning lights illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V572000 (Back Over Prevention). The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who confirmed there was no recall coverage. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.”
