2021: “I wanted to bring something to your attention, (I sent this to the manufacturer with no response) I just purchased the above camper trailer on october 3, 2020, took it to get the tires balanced on october 6, 2020, when the tech started to balance the first tire, the tech could hear something moving inside the tire, so I asked him to take the tire off and see what it was. …”

2019: “Our Forest River Rockwood signature 8335bss travel trailer has a spare tire mounted underneath the trailer. It is attached by an assembly with a cable by which the spare can be lowered when needed. We returned home from maine (a 2-day, 750 mile trip each way) on 10/15/19 and found the spare tire dangling by this cable and no more than 6 from the surface of our parking pad! Since the trailer was covered under warranty, we re-tightened the cable and took the trailer back to chesaco rv, joppa, md, on 10/23/19. …”

NHTSA complaint #11395405, filed 2021-02, 2,000 miles

2015: “While replacing prematurely rusting screws under my trailer, I discovered that the propane gas line that runs from the tanks at the front of the trailer to the galley area was no longer properly supported. At one location, a strap that secures the gas line had no screw. At a second location, the screw had pulled through the hole in the strap because the hole is too large. This failure allows the iron gas line to move and could result in a fracture and gas leak. …”
