NHTSA complaint #11398599, filed 2021-03, 700 miles2024: “In March 2026, I was driving on the freeway when the car shut itself off and put itself into neutral and accessory modes. There was no warning. This put the safety of myself and other drivers on the road at serious risk because I was unable to accelerate or adequately control my vehicle without warning. The dealer says the car is operating as designed.”
NHTSA complaint #11734897, filed 2026-042022: “After a panic stop, back seat (opposite the driver seat) automatically collapsed. While I had it inspected at a Genesis dealership, hearing that Toyotas are experiencing a similar problem due to seat springs makes me wonder if that happened to my vehicle. Our small dog rides in this seat and would be crushed if the seat were to collapse.”
