“Was driving and tire pressure sensor warning came on and was showing I was losing pressure so slowed down in time where the tire was completely flat. Valve stem was cracked and broke off. Took in to get fixed and he found that two others were cracked so they could go bad as well. Luckily was not on highway when tire deflated.”
NHTSA complaint #10594728, filed 2014-05, 133,501 miles“The contact owns a 2007 Gmc Acadia. After rainy weather conditions, the front driver's side of the vehicle sustained water leakage from the sunroof. The front passenger side exhibited excessive water accumulation on the floor area and a strong odor in the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The vehicle was repaired and the floor panel was replaced. In addition, the front driver's side door failed to lock. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on seven separate occasions for identical failures, but there were no resolutions. …”
NHTSA complaint #10254149, filed 2009-01, 16,000 miles“The contact owns a 2007 Gmc Acadia. The contact stated that the vehicle seat would not move forward or backwards. The failure occurred intermittently. The dealer stated that it could possibly be a safety issue for a person over 5'10 and 250 lbs if a crash occurred. The dealer stated that the seat railings would not function properly for a person of the contact's stature. The manufacturer stated that they would not be liable for any safety issues because the contact was notified of the safety risk involved. The current mileage is 5,700 and failure mileage was 1,600. …”
