“While it was raining outside, I was sitting in the back seat and happened to look up and saw water/ rain trickling out from around the rear interior overhead light, it was also coming in around the sensor in the overhead. The trickle eventually slowed down to a drip. In my opinion, water and electricity don't mix.”

NHTSA complaint #10473302, filed 2012-09, 68,662 miles

“While attempting to maneuver out of a parking space, my wheels locked up. Still thinking the wheel had turned enough, I attempted to clear a cement bea, however the car rolled into it. I was told that the tire had detached from the car rod under the car which prevented me from turning.”

NHTSA complaint #10522649, filed 2013-07, 136,000 miles

“Lift gate: I took my vehicle in to dealership to have recall on my lift gate complleted ( 15240). Upon completion, my power lift gate became inoperable. Dealership then wanted me to pay $500 to make power lift gate operable. Service adviser indicated to me that this has happened in the past with a customer with the same type of vehicle and they paid the $500. Please advise what action I need to take. I have contacted Gmc customer service with details of this complaint.”

NHTSA complaint #10825545, filed 2016-02, 133,315 miles

“Water leaks in front driver and passenger side floor boards, hard to tell where the leak is occurring. Water leaks everytime it rains and drips down onto the wiring and airbags. This causes the gas and brake pedals to become slick posing a safety issue. We bought the vehicle used and this is the first few times we've noticed it. Water leaking on the wiring system cant be good everyone knows water and electricity do not mix.”

NHTSA complaint #10510908, filed 2013-05, 78,000 miles

“Air cond turns on but will not blow. Mechanic removes cover and my blower motor is standing in 3 inches of water. Any more water would have leaked onto the floor of my car. Water in an electrical component is not safe. If I get water inside, I will also have mold or mildew. This is not safe for us to breathe. I do not feel this should be my cost. This is manufacturing or engineering negligence. It is not normal wear and tear.”
