“I'd like to report a safety issue related to the frequency of the adaptive cruise control system on my 2024 GMC Acadia. In multiple instances while traveling at highway speeds (55+ mph), the system will brake heavily when no vehicle or impediment is in visible range. This failure can cause safety issues due to sudden braking at highway speeds potentially leading to traffic accidents and/or fatalities. This failure has happened multiple times, but most recently on 7/21/25, 7/25/25, 10/9/25, 10/21/25, 10/22/25, and 10/23/25. …”

This has happened numerous times”
