Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The backup camera on the infotainment system is blindingly bright at night. When you put the truck in reverse the backup camera pops up on the infotainment screen and blinds you making it a huge safety hazard as you cannot see anything out your mirrors. This needs corrected so there is a brightness control to allow the screen to be dimmed so that you can see when backing up.”

NHTSA complaint #11281230, filed 2019-11, 8,000 miles

“Vehicle is equipped with non hd camera. Which often is white out visibility in night time conditions. Lines sometimes appear on screen when brake is depressed.”

NHTSA complaint #11281455, filed 2019-11, 600 miles
