“Traveling at about 25 MPH in a residential neighborhood, the engine and stabilitrak lights came on and power abruptly cut out. Luckily no one was behind me and I was safely able to pull to the side of the road. I can only image what might have happened if this had occurred on a busy freeway or a crowded intersection.”

“While driving in the city, my truck was driving fine. Then the stabilitrak came on. When it came on the engine slow down, and almost came to a complete stop while driving on a major road where the speed limit is 55. I was able to pull over and turn the vehicle off. I was able to get it to start and call the Gmc dealer, told them what the problem was, and they asked could I bring the vehicle in to see what the problem was. After they service the vehicle, they said that the stabilitrak needed to be replaced. I hadn't even had the vehicle for a full year. …”
