“2007 gms yukon xl has had numerous issues with air venting system becoming stuck in defrost mode. 8/30/07 service actuator was replaced. Again on 7/01/08 I had the actuator replaced. 2/20/09 issue occurred again same actuator was replaced for 3rd time along with new programming for HVAC control head. Now 6/28/10 I'm having the same problem again. Danger of this issue is in the summer months fogging of the external windshield happers vision and automate wiper will not kick on due to moisture not reaching senor at top of windshield. …”

Body shop installed a replacement part; however, from the beginning it did not fit correctly. When compared to old cover, there was a difference in the prong design. In june 2014 the cover did not break or come off the vehicle; however, it was flapping below the bumper. Took vehicle into service department for another issue, but, asked service department to have body shop to insure right part installed. …”
