NHTSA complaint #10861094, filed 2016-04, 98,000 miles

“When we purchased the vehicle approx. 3.5 years ago, it had a small crack in the dashboard. Last december, it was noticed that the crack had gotten much bigger, and now a second crack has been noted. This is becoming a major safety concern, as the dash may shatter in a front-end collision with airbag deployment. Upon doing research on;ine, I found that I am not alone. There are thousands of reports of similar issues among similar years and models. Please help me keep my family safe by requiring GM to provide a fix or replacement. Thank you!”

I was unable to open either the driver's side window or the passenger's side window. Additionally, I was unable to lower the back passenger window and the power door opener was not working on the driver's side. I called my local Gmc dealer and they examined the car.
