NHTSA complaint #11297549, filed 2020-01, 175,000 miles

NHTSA complaint #10671648, filed 2015-01, 116,000 miles

“Unlike many others my chevrolet mechanic warned me of the corrosion problems they found on my brake lines on my Gmc 2002 Yukon, and the need to replace them. This $1,700 repair is excessive, but I could not consider risking failure. We travel on highways close to 1,000 miles per month and occasionally tow a 5,000 pound boat/trailer. I typically buy new cars, maintain them with the dealer and run them as long as I can. I have never seen or heard of such a comprehensive failure. …”
