“Failure of rear window hinge in Gmc 2005 Yukon. Hinge and glass separate, window is loose; can be pulled off due to suction from other vehicles or the wind. Contacted Gmc, customer service rep, christian, said not covered due to warranty expired on vehicle, no recall in effect. I explained there are several posts all with the same issue regarding the rear hinge failing. He offered to provide a service provider, but I would have to pay the expense of replacing the entire back glass. This seems to be a known problem to Gmc, some posts indicated covered by dealers, others were not. …”
