“On 10/08/2020 I was driving in heavy traffic at 5 pm when the engine lost power and the dash started flashing first it was turning off the stability control system and the next message was going into reduced engine power mode. At that point, the vehicle dropped to about 30 MPH with full throttle and I had to maneuver thru traffic to get off the freeway. Not easy to do with a car that will only do 30 MPH or so. With caution lights blinking and waving at cars I nearly got rear-ended twice before I could get off the freeway.”

Upon slowing down my vehicle displayed the following messages: service traction control , service stabilitrack , reduced engine power . The SUV would not accelerate over 15mph requiring my to pull to the side of the road. The vehicle shook violently until I was able to put it in park and turn off the engine. After 10 minutes of sitting on the side of the road I stared the engine again. The SUV started right up but the check engine light remained on. …”
