2014: “I just got on to my bike and comming up to a curve at the end of my street I grabbed my front brake and had no brake response at all. It resulted in me crashing into a fence at low speed. Harley has recalled the ABS on older model bikes but mine has the same module as those bikes recalled. No recall has been made on 2014 bikes yet.”
NHTSA complaint #11152324, filed 2018-11, 2,300 miles2018: “I experienced a front brake lock-up that threw me off the bike, and almost got ran over by the car behind me. It seemed that it could have been the calipers, but don't know for sure. I was going at 20 miles per hour as was starting to accelerate from a stop light. I called the local dealer as the bike is brand new, and they came and picked it up under the warranty.”
NHTSA complaint #11118656, filed 2018-08, 1 miles2017: “Left rear shock blew out leaking fluid all over my rear tire and drive belt. My father in law has the same year and model and both rear shocks blew out on him. This is supposed to be harleys premium shock. I was riding down the highway when it happened I noticed the rear end got very loose pulled over and found a shock leaking”
