“The backup camera installed on 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid EXL is of poor quality at night. When backing up at night backup camera image is extremely foggy and pixelated making it very difficult to see compared with our other vehicles. Nearly ran over family member backing up as I could not make out their image. During daytime / light, camera image is fine.”

NHTSA complaint #11566418, filed 2024-01

“I drove my car on 2/27/24 and my windshield was normal. The car sat idle outside for a few days. I got into my car on March 1, and there was an 8 hairline crack emanating from the edge of the windshield on the passenger side. The crack looks identical to the pictures in Honda service bulletin 20-118 dealing with stress fractures.”

NHTSA complaint #11575828, filed 2024-03

“At around 3,500 miles, I noticed that the driver's side mirror would vibrate at highway speeds. I took the car to the dealership today, but they were unable to reproduce the issue. They explained that they couldn't drive the vehicle on the highway due to safety concerns. Additionally, the vehicle hasn't been inspected by anyone other than the dealership, and there were no warning messages on the dashboard. At times, the mirror vibrates severely, making objects in the mirror appear blurry, which could pose a potential hazard.”

NHTSA complaint #11606670, filed 2024-08

“The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger’s side mirror started hitting against the vehicle, before the side mirror detached, and fell off onto the highway. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who determined that an impact had caused the failure. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the mirror needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted by the local dealer, but no assistance was provided. …”

NHTSA complaint #11603418, filed 2024-07, 3,000 miles

“At higher speeds, 60+ MPH, the drivers side mirror will vibrate causing visibility issues, as the image is not stable. This is cause for concern when traveling at high speeds and using the mirror to check surroundings for lane changes.”
