“I was driving regularly at the normal speed limit and hit a huge pothole more like a crater and now I immediately got a flat tire on which is a brand new tire. I should not have to pay for this”

NHTSA complaint #11387724, filed 2021-01, 173,945 miles

“On december 4, 2017 I was traveling the posted speed limit on interstate 195 maryland when my tire broke away from the axle. I lost control of the car and skid across the highway and slammbed into a guard rail. I had just repaired/replaced both lower control arm bushings on that same wheel not two weeks prior to the accident with alignment and new brakes all around. I was fortunate that I did not hit anyone and no one hit me or the result would have been much worse. The car was totaled.”

NHTSA complaint #11055651, filed 2017-12, 136,000 miles

“I was driving on a city road/side street at approximately 25 MPH, when I turned right onto another street the vehicle jerked or seized slightly, could not control the steering and heard metal scraping on the road. Stopped vehicle immediately. Front passenger side of tire popped off was turned at about 45 degree angle and broke off the arm, ball and joint. This occurred on a relatively smooth road, no obstacles in road. Did not hit a pothole when this occurred or other object, the tire and ball and joint just broke off the arm. I believe it also damaged the drive shaft.”

NHTSA complaint #11390898, filed 2021-01, 225,000 miles

“I own a 2007 Honda Accord and within the past two years I've replaced the driver front tire twice. The first time I didn't think much of it, the second time replacing it , it got me thinking, ok, what's going on and why is it only this tire I need to replace again? I'm thinking there is an alignment issue? We need this problem resolved because I can not keep buying tires every year. We don't go on long trips, we stay in our home town so I know it's not just normal wear and tear. Something is wrong, which is why I am reporting this problem. Below I provided two pictures. …”

NHTSA complaint #11103586, filed 2018-06, 140,000 miles

“3 of 4 tires have developed bulges in the sidewall with no road hazard damage involved. Vehicle had been in motion quite some time before they were noticed. They were purchased at ntb, who refuse to except anything other then I must've hit something”

NHTSA complaint #11145258, filed 2018-11, 124,000 miles
