“I was driving my car from benicia, california to sacramento and 20 mins away from my destination my car warning lights all turned on and I went from going 70 to only being able to go no more than 15. Got it towed to Honda and found out my high pressure fuel pump was bad. Look it up and seen that many more cars like mines had the same problem”

NHTSA complaint #11350366, filed 2020-08, 13 miles

“Was driving and vehicle broke down. Pulled a code P0087 which has to do with fuel pressure and do to all the fuel pump recall and everyone else’s experience, I believe the 2020 ex civics need to be recalled as well. Put my life in danger breaking down while diving down the road.”

NHTSA complaint #11645072, filed 2025-02

“I was driving on 4/24/23 going 75 MPH. The car made a rev up noise and be RPM’s suddenly increased and the speed was decreasing. The car was losing power. I had to pull over to the side of the road and shut the car off and let it sit for awhile. The. When I started it back up it ran fine. This is a safety issue as I had to pull over on the highway and sit on the shoulder and could have been hit. No lights came on the dash at this time.”

NHTSA complaint #11585322, filed 2024-04

“Gas door opens randomly and it’s happened more than a few times now which is becoming a safety hazard especially because I drive 80 miles daily for work. Also my automatic brake senor is a hazard because it’s going off when cars or objects are farther away; which leads to the 3rd issue with my seat belts which is either to tight on the chest area and possibly choking me when the car automatically brakes when objects aren’t near or in close distance to my car”

NHTSA complaint #11594495, filed 2024-06

“I received notice of the recall for my car more than six months ago, and since then, I have been trying to schedule an appointment at the Honda dealership in Paramus, NJ. However, they always tell me that the replacement part is unavailable and that they will call me back. It has now been at least six months, and my car is losing power and consuming more fuel than usual. For my safety and the safety of others, I request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. Thank you.”
