In addition, the rear brake light failed to function and the front driver side door failed to operate with the key or fob. The vehicle was maneuvered to a safe location. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the alternator would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 36,500. The VIN was unavailable.”
