“When I stop or take off my car excelerates on its own. Or it jerks. I am afraid it will hit someone or make me go out into the traffic. Also my airbag light comes on when I put a large object in the seat not a person.”
NHTSA complaint #10824160, filed 2016-02, 20,000 miles“This vehicle was sold without any means of securing the gas cap or fuel access door. Because of epa emission restrictions there is no functional aftermarket device made for this vehicle. This is a serious safety issue. There is no way to restrict access to the fuel tank of this vehicle, of serious consideration when the vehicle must be parked in unsecured locations either on purpose or at such times when the vehicle may become mechanically non-operational. My wife takes the vehicle on her visitation trips into areas where she is required to leave the vehicle unattended for hours. …”
