“I am writing to formally request goodwill assistance regarding a significant hardware failure in my 2019 Honda Passport. My vehicle is currently experiencing diagnostic trouble code U3000-49 (Internal Electronic Failure of the Multipurpose Camera Unit), which has completely disabled my Honda Sensing suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Collision Mitigation. …”

NHTSA complaint #11759609, filed 2026-08

“My front windshield camera. Yes Because of my camera having glitches my car would randomly brake no my front camera won't work at all and my dashboard looks like a christmas light show with all the warning lights It has been confirmed by a independent service center No No,no warning lamps no messages or other symptoms of the problem prior.to the failure everything happened at all once on oct3 2025”

NHTSA complaint #11692213, filed 2025-10

“The safety features connected to the rear view mirror and vehicle sensors malfunctioned. The Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist and High Beam - brake system - have stopped working. It was diagnosed as an internal failure of multipurpose camera. I have noticed there have been a lot of complaints of this failure. My car doesn’t have that many miles on it and isn’t that old. It seems like a defect in the car.”

NHTSA complaint #11744579, filed 2026-06

“Approximately a month ago several warning lights started turning on. These included Adaptive Cruise control Collision Mitigation Lane Keep Assist Road Departure Mitigation High Beam Detection When I brought the car to the dealer for a diagnosis they informed me the windshield camera and possibly the radar as well would need to be replaced. The products were not under warranty and the cost to replace them is exorbitant. These are vital components of the safety system in this car and should be replaced at the dealer cost.”

NHTSA complaint #11652224, filed 2025-04

“Started my vehicle and drove about a mile before my brake system lights came on. They were sporadically coming on , but now it's a continuous issue. I would like to know is there some kind of recall on vehicles that are experiencing issues with the ACC, COLISION MITIGATION SYSTEM, BRAKE SYSTEM, LKAS, AUTO HIGH BEAM, and ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION lights staying on . I only have 28,000 miles on my 2019 Passport Elite. So it's no longer un warranty. I see that a number of people on the Honda Forums are experiencing the same issues. …”
