“Everytime I start my car it says my hood is open but it is not, I have to get out and open and close my hood. My fans won't run and AC or heat won't work if this error occurs.”

NHTSA complaint #11395979, filed 2021-02, 19,174 miles

“Sunroof spontaneously exploded without cause. Nothing hit my car and no other vehicles were nearby, nor was vehicle hit with any flying debris while driving up a highway entrance ramp, with my speed increasing from 45-55mph. I heard wind noise and thought passenger window might be down slightly so I opened window about 2 inches and closed, then immediately after I heard a loud crashing crack noise and approximately 2-3 second later a very loud explosion noise and glass debris flew off the back of my vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11349100, filed 2020-08, 4,700 miles

“Was driving 70mph on the freeway using adaptive cruise control (acc). No cars ahead of me, several behind. The car icon on my dash (lights up while using acc) began flashing then my Passport (on it's own) slammed on the breaks, forcing my daughter and I into our seatbelts hard, and forced the cars behind to slam on their breaks. The break warning that usually flashes on the dash when there's a reason to break didn't happen. It was a close call but everyone avoided a collision. Immediately took to dealership. …”

NHTSA complaint #11311547, filed 2020-02, 8,200 miles

“When open the rear hatch will close unexpectedly without warning and without the key fob or any other switch being pressed. This has happened at least six times. Have to either duck away from the closing hatch or grab it to stop it. Each time the key fob was in my pocket but was not pressed. I feel the auto lift gate ( foot operated.) feature may be at fault. Some times this will occur when standing under the hatch. Other times this will occur while walking away from the vehicle. Obviously, this a dangerous condition.”

NHTSA complaint #11291211, filed 2019-12, 6,000 miles

“I copied this from someone posting, since it is exactly the problem I am experiencing and more. 'the engine will just rev higher and higher over 4k revs. I cannot even drive the 25-mile speed limit when this occurs. I have confirmed that the transmission settings are in the standard drive mode during these events. I also informed them that the auto high beam feature does not work properly.' the remote control connect doesn't work. Side sensors work intermitently. It accelerates when releasing the gas pedal but the SUV doesn't pick up speed. …”
