“While driving on the florida turnpike my sunroof just exploded and with the panel open shards of glass dropped into the interior of the car. We were driving at night and I couldn't tell if some of the glass flew back on the highway. With two passengers in the car, luckily nobody was injured.”

“As per other recalls of the 2019 Honda Passport we are having the same symptoms. The windshield area along both a pillars are popping and making noise. This is a problem we have been having, finally looking it up on internet we found that other passports of this year are being recalled for faulty weld spots. We have had this noise sitting at a red light, and clear good weather conditions and also while traveling down the road.”

NHTSA complaint #11315738, filed 2020-03, 6,000 miles

“The vehicle infotainment system locks up sporadically while the vehicle is in motion. As a result, the backup camera is inoperable until a fuse is removed from under the hood. This first happened shortly after purchasing the vehicle and has happened over five times since. This has not been addressed by the local dealer or Honda corporation despite multiple visits to the dealer to determine the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11311550, filed 2020-02, 700 miles

“Radio/Screen/Back-up camera do not turn on or turn off randomly and unexpectedly when driving. Usually receive a crackling sound and a MOST off network message before black screen. Upon initial start up of vehicle, a driver sets car to reverse relying and expecting a functional view of rear camera on screen. This issue makes backing up safety features unreliable.”

NHTSA complaint #11719363, filed 2026-02

“What component malfunctioned: The driver's side visor has malfunctioned and is extremely difficult to raise and lower. It's motion has become very stiff and requires both of the driver's hands to raise or lower it, which means that the driver must remove their hands from the steering wheel to utilize the visor. It is available for inspection as it is still installed in the car. …”
