I can’t park my car away from my residence due to a mobility handicap. I have not been able to get any information on when this will be be resolved. I would appreciate your attention to this matter.”
NHTSA complaint #11567955, filed 2024-01“The Hyundai accents from 2007-2015 seem like they are all experiencing the same electrical issue from the reviews I’ve seen on Google. The car literally shuts off while you are driving and the problem can’t be fixed. That is very dangerous to be driving and out of nowhere the car Dash board lights come on and the car shuts off. I recently had multiple repairs done on my vehicle and none of the repairs corrected the problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11450655, filed 2022-02“I was entering highway on entrance ramp there was a loud pop and I could see plumes of smoke coming from under the car, so I turned the ignition off on the car and pulled over to the shoulder, the brakes failed so I had to let it coast to a stop. Then I waited until I could safely exit the vehicle and did so quickly. I had the vehicle towed to a local shop, and they told me I should report it. There was no warning that it was about to happen and yes its available for inspection still sitting at the shop I had it towed to. …”
